I agree with Chris on telnet.. ugly ugly :) unless you are disconnected 
from the internet, and even then you may forget one day and "plug in"

download putty if you must use windows, and you'll soon learn it has a 
much better display than that damned win32 telnet proggie.

search google for putty.exe and the first link will take you to the 
download page. small binary around 360k... I seem to live in putty when 
I'm working on the road
