After reading Jon Carnes idea, I'd go with that, using automount. I'd still
use -o credentials=/path/to/sambacreds though. That way the users could
change their login password when they change the windows password.

It works for me anyway.

Is it safe practice to use .xsession or .xinitrc and chmod/chown so the
user won't see su pwd?
