1) You probably need an MMU to do this. Palms don't have this.
2) CPU power. It takes a lot (relatively speaking) to play MP3's.
Something on the order of a first gen pentium. Palm is much slower.
3) HDD controller. Palm doesn't have one. This might be the easiest
of all the obstacles to overcome, and it is still significant.
You could probably use a palm as a controller up in the cabin to a
carputer in the trunk (a Soekris box *might* do it but those Via EPIA
Micro ITX boards will handle it for sure).
