Don't bother. There were over 9000 of us laid off 2 years ago, and another
2000 to 3000 last year. According to NC's Employment Security Commission
(our version of a state unemployment org), there are still 7000 in the area
looking for programming and related jobs.

The company that laid me off was based up your way -- Taughton and Needham.
They not only got no takers to move back up to Massachusetts, but last year
and this they have laid off up in your area.

Its bad here. I heard its worse in California, and in the Chicago area too,
also in the New Jersey area. The only bites I have seen have been in the
Denver/Boulder area, some in the Seattle area, and a precious few in the
Dallas area. Unless you already have a security clearance -- then Maryland
is your place to go -- we have all been told to try up your way for jobs.
