[TriLUG] win4lin5 install hangs

any of you experts wanna take a peak at my win4lin5 installation notes on rh-9?  i'm trying to get win98se running to no avail.  it keeps hangs mid process no matter what i try.  it looks as if it hit an interrupt conflict and totally pukes.  here's what i've got thus far:
 
1.6/9/03 win4lin-5.0

a.insert cd -> nautilus automounts -> /mnt/cdrom

b.double click on win-4lin-install (manual command -> mount -o exec /mnt/cdrom, cd /mnt/cdrom, ./win4lin-install)

c.register

                                                              ii.Neuse River Network Inc

                                                            iii.register

d.system-wide windows installation

                                                               i.root logon

                                                              ii./usr/bin/win4lin-install

                                                            iii.windows files location -> /dev/cdrom

                                                            iv.dir -> ./win98_se/setup/win98 (MSDN CDROM)

                                                             v.floppy drive/image path -> /dev/fd0

1.use rawrite on rh-9 cd to store image -> K:\win98-floppy-image\win98.img

2./home/apps/win98.img

e.personal windows installation

                                                               i.jim logon

                                                              ii./usr/bin/win4lin-install

                                                            iii.configure windows virtual network adapter

                                                            iv.got to 8% and locked up system

                                                             v.2nd attempt got past license screen and crashed after copying 8% of files

f.win & -> says setup did not finish copying all files

g.re-install win

                                                               i.rm -rf .merge win

                                                              ii.installwindows

                                                            iii.looks like it is hung on 39% preparing directory

                                                            iv.no mouse response
