[TriLUG] Evolution signature question

I recently upgraded my main workstation to Red Hat Linux 9, which uses
evolution 1.2.2.

One thing is very annoying about it -- when I compose a new message (or
reply or whatever), it uses the "Autogenerated" signature as the
default, instead of the signature file I have loaded.

How do I turn off that autogenerated signature, and make my signature
file the default? (I have to select it from the drop-down every time I
send a message right now.) When I go into Tools/Settings/Composer
Preferences/Signatures, there is no mention of the autogenerated
signature -- only a way to add and remove signature files and scripts.

Thanks
Jeremy
