If you had a static IP address from your DSL connection, you will need to
re-configure your network settings to either use DHCP or if you get a static
IP from RoadRunner, to use that new information.

I presume you had cat5 (rj45) ethernet cable attached to an ethernet card in
your machine going to the DSL modem (which then went to the phone line).  If
this is the case, you will only need to plug in the same ethernet cable from
your computer to the Cable modem.  Yup, should be that easy.
