During the Y2K thingy, I remember that I went around checking ATM
machines on 1-1-2000 (Barcelona, Europe). The results were interesting:

* I checked ATMs from ~12 diffeerent banks, 2/3 ATMs from each bank.
* ATMs from ~ 8 banks were OK
* ATMs from ~3 banks were BSOD/unkonwn error
* ATMS that were BSOD were all running WinCE
* All the banks were I did my business were all running OK
* On Jan, 2nd, it was pretty funny to laugh at Microsoft, as most of
Microsoft-based ATMs were still down (in Barcelonathere are more ATMs
than McDonalds + Gas Stations in an American city of comparable size)
* Of course, nobody got fired for "buying Microsoft".

Salut,
Sinner
