Yes, to be an "official" member of TriLUG, you do have to be an NC
resident.  That said, however, you don't have to be an "official"
member to join any of our mailing lists.  You don't even have to
be an "official" member to come to any of our meetings (which are
free and include free pizza).  Right now the only things we make
you be a member for are a) to have an account on the trilug machines
(although, if you are an official member and then move out of
state, we don't cancel your account) and b) non-bandwidth limited
access to our software mirrors.  (For more information about member
services, see the member services FAQ at http://members.trilug.org/ .)

So, please feel free to post as much as you want.  We welcome anyone
on the list that cares to contribute. :-)
