Mmmm, I upgrade packages with:
urpmi.update -a --wget
urpmi --wget --auto-select --media updates --auto

I recently updated from 9.1 to 9.2 with:

1. deleting 'old version' package sources
2. adding 'new version' package sources
3. upgrading 'urpmi' first (urpmi urpmi)
4. urpmi --wget --auto-select --auto
5. urpmi kernel (if needed)
6. reboot (if 5. was needed)

Salut,
Sinner
