<snip>"Is there any significance to what Web server/platform
combinations 2004 presidential candidates are using?"</snip>

Uh, NO! Vote based on the issues, basing your vote on what OS a
candidate uses is even more moronic than voting a certain party "'cause
my daddy and his granddaddy" always voted Rep/Dem, or, "he was in that
Conan movie". If this is the way you vote, the rest of us are better
off if you stay home on election day. :( (Not an attack on Jon, btw,
who didn't write the article.)

GW's and Al Sharpton's sites loaded 3X as fast as the others from
here... (still no political significance though) Apparently Satan
supplies good bandwidth to his minions.... ;)

Also, do long periods of 'uptime' on a server imply it has not had a
kernel update in a while??? (Or at least running it)

:)

Me personally, I'm voting for the guy with the coolest PDA...
