I agree with David here. There are tons of ways to avoid the laser.
Jason, I can't believe you can't find a way to get around the
laser. You've managed to do so well with everything else. O:-)
What Jon Carne's says too, makes a lot of sense. The laser will
always be better in a flat (and spacious) map. Perhaps the thing
to do would be to generate some non-flat maps and rotate them around.
If we generate enough non-flat maps, it would almost be like
having random generation. :-)
