[TriLUG] Laptop battery life comparison: Windows vs. Linux

To make it more 'scientific', I suggest (under Linux) setting the CPU
to a lower power mode. I would bet that Windows is doing the same. The
easiest way is with the cpufreq support in Linux 2.6, although some
patches are available for 2.4.
