[TriLUG] a 'non-windows' method to upgrade BIOS/firmware?

I'm checking all this now (have to reboot), but here is a blurb on the 
output from the 'cmp' that I found on the 'net:

The EOF on the ISO image means that the CD image is an EXACT copy PLUS 
padding. An EOF on /mnt/cdrom would have meant the CD was incomplete.
