[TriLUG] a 'non-windows' method to upgrade BIOS/firmware?

Here's my output -- I'm using a 'different' drive.  They've released
new firmware, but ... I can't figure out how to install it w/o using
Windows (or just using at Windows install disk, at the bare minimum,
without installing).

My guess = that it's the drive, since the media seems to work fine on a
SuperDrive on an iMac.

# scsi_info /dev/scd0
SCSI_ID="0,0,0"
MODEL="LITE-ON DVDRW LDW-411S"
FW_REV="FS02"
# scsi_info /dev/cdrom
SCSI_ID="0,0,0"
MODEL="LITE-ON DVDRW LDW-411S"
FW_REV="FS02"

Argh!
