[TriLUG] ssh DOA, but machine pings fast

Without console access or some other connectivity ( I assume telnet and rsh
are turned off ), it would be kind of hard to get in and diagnose. Although
I don't use telnet on boxes where I have a say so, rsh, when properly
secured, has helped me out of a bind here and there...even if it's only in
the form of an rcp.

Incidentally, you seem to have left the hostname and ip address uncovered in
your output, even though you blanked it in the command.
