I have a Sandisk ImageMate 8-in-1...all i have to do is act like i am mounting
my thumb drive.

Put the media in the Reader
Then plug the reader into the USB port
mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb/

Works like a charm, haven't had any problems...yet.
