Look at www.alphalinux.org and www.alphanews.net I have had better luck with Suse then RedHat. RedHat 7.1 would just lock up some older Alphas that Suse worked on. When I got an XP1000 (500MHz) I just went with Suse. Most of the time I boot up Tru64, so my Linux Alpha skills are rusty. -Charles Fischer
