Chip,

You may want to check out the internal forums as they are extremely
specific to the IBM hw.  Check forums.software.linux and some of the other
forums there.

I am running the a,b,&g card in my t41p and I know that I have to add the
madwifi to get it to work but the Cisco stuff should be fairly easy to get
to work.
