I have a bt848 PCI capture card running in RHL 9, it has 3 composite (yellow)
video inputs on it. I am able to use composite 1, and I run webcam with it. I
haven't tried the other 2. (it just allows for multiple sources without
plug/unplug really, capture method is no different, just source plug). I
haven't tried to capture "video" in RHL 9 but I'm sure it would be a usable
card for decent video.

here's a random link google sent me, dunno how up2date it is:

I do seem to recall setting up xawtv so my webcam would work.

there are probably better cards out there than an old bt848, but I'm not up and
up... card worked beautifully in Windows before I moved it to RHL 9.

laters,
David M.
