If the data was created on a SCO(R) Unix(tm) system, and is subsequently
read back on a Linux system - and it contained SCO(R) intellectual property,
would IBM need to license that tape to avoid breach of contract?

Gotta call Darl, see if he's up for another lawsuit.  How many tapes did you
say you had???
