[TriLUG] orinoco + mandrake 10.0 trouble

if you use drakconf to configure networking, you'll see a checkbox for 
"network hotplugging" which is tied to the ifplugd daemon.  try 
disabling that, it looks like ifplugd might be getting in the way.
