Also, what type of POP3/IMAP service are you running?  Does it use mbox
files or maildir format?  If it's the latter, that might be part of the
problem.  If it's the mbox format, or another file format, make sure that
the user that procmail is running under has access to write to the user's
mail files (all of them, not just the inbox file).
