Have the Westell do IP "passthrough".

I have a Linux box set up to grab the WAN ip from the web page on the
LAN interface (192.168.1.254) of the Westell and to use the ip utility
to assign this WAN ip to eth0. eth0 and eth1 are on different subnets.

If you'd like these scripts (called from /etc/network/interfaces on my
Debian Sid box), just holler and I'll sanitize and post them.

FWIW, I have a Westell 2100 using the ethernet connector, and it has
been solid since September 2002. I have followed each firmware upgrade
closely (have been running 1.6.33 since November 2003).
