2 Comments:
1) The Bellsouth Tech's I've dealt with don't know how
to spell Linux.. :-)  I usually boot my machine to
Win2k (the only reason I still have it) and hook it
directly to the modem before I call the support folks.
 :-)

2) Are you sure about the port 80 blocking?  (for BLS
DSL) I've got standard residential service and my port
80 isn't blocked.  I don't know about 25, I'm not
running a mail server.
