I made the switch from mutt to Mozilla roughly a year ago, and haven't 
looked back.  mutt (and most open source console-mode email clients) are 
very good at PGP integration, etc - but a graphical client has it's own 
special advantages (and disadvantages, like it doesn't work over ssh).  
I would suggest giving Mozilla a try, and pick up the Enigmail plugin 
for your PGP/GPG needs.  It works very nicely for me, and as an added 
plus you can use one client on Linux, Windows, or OS X - where ever you 
happen to be.  One set of things to get used to, one set of keyboard 
commands, less hastle in your life.  That's how I like it.
