I've used Mulberry <http://www.cyrusoft.com/mulberry/index.html> for a 
number of years.  It does Windows, Linux, and Solaris... it is one of the 
most complete IMAP clients around and does good POP as well.  PGP/GPG, SSL 
and SMIME is all supported.  Mulberry rocks.....
