[TriLUG] Digression: Top- vs Bottom-posting

Since we're all on this thread... why are "users" top posters you ask?  Where
do email clients put the cursor when you hit reply?  In M$ Outlook, Outlook
Express, and even Evolution, the default cursor is dropped at the top line of
the message.  I for one am ok with it.  Now, if an email is multi-faceted,
multi-paragraphed by question, I see no reason to either number the paragraphs
and their responses, stay at top, OR, inline answers presuming replied to text
has pre-empting markings like the famous > or otherwise.  Snipping is a whole
other issue.  :)
