Funny, I don't seem to remember you ever being on the steering committee.
I guess that means you can't speak for everyone either.  And, frankly,
when you get down to it, since the organziation is only as good as the
people in it and the diversity of their views, even the SC can't speak
for "everyone".  We can only try to do whatever the membership wants us
to do.  So far, I think we've done a decent job, but there's always
room for improvement.

Now, all that aside, may I suggest that you stop being so confrontational
and lighten up a bit.  There has been no reason to jump on anyone for
what they've said.  If you can't lighten up, I suggest getting up
from the computer and going outside for a while because your responses
aren't helping your cause here.  And, note that I'm not saying this
as a member of the SC.  I'm saying it as someone who has been reading
your messages and wondering what's got you all upset.  Whatever it is,
I'm pretty sure it can't be as bad as my job search. :-)  So, I'll
reiterate.  Chill out, man.
