This isn't exactly an answer to the question you asked, but it's 
slightly on-topic: I have never installed "real" RHEL, but I
have installed CentOS on a couple of boxes, and every time
I've installed it, it went as smoothly as any other recent
Linux install I've done.

I can't say anything negative about WBEL, as I've never used
it, but I feel pretty good about endorsing CentOS
as a RHEL clone, FWIW.
