I don't know how you define affordable, and there are certainly cheaper 
headsets out there, but I've been very happy with the service from my 
Sony HBH-35.  It's so comfortable that I'm often razzed at TriLUG 
meetings because I leave it on pretty much all the time that I'm not 
sleeping (because it has to charge, and I find it disturbing when I wake 
up in the middle of the night with a loud ringing in my ear...).  It 
runs about $100 or so, new.  I wouldn't suggest a used one.  The only 
complaint I have about it is that when talking with a loud caller, the 
caller will hear an echo of himself, and complain, if you don't turn 
down the volume.  It's not a problem for you, but the person on the 
other end of the phone will sometimes get confused by it.  It's caused 
by the fact that the microphone can pick up the speaker's headset when 
the sound is sufficiently loud, so it echos it back to the person on the 
other end.  Adjust the volume accordingly and the problem will go away.  
Other than that, it's great.  I can talk all day long and never run the 
battery down, I easily get upwards of 5 hours of talk time out of a 
single charge - that and comfort are where it's at for me.
