Job Title : Software Configuration Mangement Engineer
Location : Raleigh, NC
City : Raleigh/Durham - RTP
State : North Carolina



• Maintaining multiple product development environments along with 
stable software testing environments
• Participation in implementing standardized version control environment 
for all product source code
• Handling PVCS Version Manager administration
• Streamlining SCM processes to better control software changes
• Designing software scripts to automate build activity and updates to 
the browsing area for source code
• Ensuring tight controls for clean baseline delivery to clients
• Acting as an interface between product development teams, SQA, and our 
Integration department
• Maintaining the Software Configuration Management website

UNIX: cron, shell scripting

Informix: dbaccess, basic SQL

Documentation: Creating and maintaining software development cycle 
processes as they relate to SCM, project planning

Software Configuration Management: Release Management, software change 
control, software version control, software builds for 4gl, C, Java, and 
Delphi code

General: Teamwork, meeting challenging deadlines, coordinating 
communication between departments

Job Requirements : This is an amazing opportunity for someone who 
possesses a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, 
Programming, or Engineering. 1-2 years software development experience 
preferred..
