[TriLUG] OFF-TOPIC - Snow "Storm"?

Haha. out here in colorado (talk about hills), when snow catches the
plows off guard, i usually tend to make my own lanes and plow right
through the 2ft of accumulation instead of sitting in traffic... i
mean, why not, you can't see the lane lines anyways :-)

but i learned to drive in NC, and i'd have to agree... North
Carolinians (for the most part) aren't prepared to drive in cold
weather conditions... The thing out here in CO is that people drive
60mph through the snow, but when it rains traffic slows to a
standstill. too bad you can see the lane lines when it's raining, or
else i'd go around all the idiots then too :-D

i heard about the ice-storm and i'm glad the only thing that was wasted
was time. sounds like a hectic time though... are things still
anywhere near bad, or did they clear most everything up?

oh, and if anyone wants to make a TriLUG ski trip, come to some real
mountains...I'll show ya a good time...

happy off-topic friday..
