[TriLUG] Minimum usable laptop memory for Linux

I did find a company somewhere on Google that will sell you a computer with
no OS (actually, you can even get them to put Linux on it).  But I had never
heard of the company, or the brand of laptops they were selling before, so I
didn't know whether the thing was going to last or not.  Search Google for
Laptop no OS or something like that and you'll come up with some stuff...

That's pretty much every computer-selly-people, have a licensing thing
with Microsoft, where they get the OS cheaper, but they can't sell a
computer without it :/
