Lowes has been running Linux for at least 3-4 years now...I had the luxury of
going on a tour of their IT facility in Wilkesboro while in college.  Lowes is
quite smart with their IT...they have a simulation of every register their
stores there in Wilkesboro so they don't have to go onsite unless it is
absolutely necessary, and what better way to do that than Linux :-)
