Here are some Linux/FOSS books that are available as PDF's for free. I
have the Samba3 howto and it is a decent book.  Also the Samba 3 guide
is under review right now, and a revised edition is going to the
printers soon.  Both of these samba PDF's are available at the samba
site as well.
