[TriLUG] Newbie needs help

I just installed knoppix 3.8 to my HD yesterady.  It worked great. 
I'm not sure of the differences between 3.7 and 3.8 (except they are
probably bug fixes).  My thoughts on this would be to go straigth to
3.8 and install from there.

You'll like Knoppix on the HD.  I just Knoppix/Debian for just about
everything these days.  It is very easy to keep anything debian up to
date with patches and it is also easy to move upwards in distributions
(something not so easy, especially for a remote machine, running
Fedora).
