I'd like to echo Jon's comments on Asterisk's MeetMe conference module. 
It works great. It does conferencing as well as the commercial services, 
if not better.

Check out VNC Reflector. It can drive multiple VNC viewers in viewonly 
mode.  I've used it and it works well:
