[TriLUG] ELX: Looking for feedback

I have notice the ELX website is unavailable dut to a DNS failure.
didnt know if this means they are gone or just having problems.
Regardless...

I am pushing the linux revolution by installing it on the machines I
am "fixing" for friends and family.  I see that ELX is specifically
geared toward Windows Cross-over. Does anyone on list have any
experience or suggestions for other alternative distros to assist
non-linux people in their cross-over from windows?
