[TriLUG] ELX Distro

Has anyone tried  ELX?  It installed fine, however, there are a number
of broken dependencies, and the update will not work.  I have tried both
synaptic and apt which are included in the distro.
I reviewed the help forums, and it was mentioned that the supositories
were in repair.
It looks link a nice crossover to linux from windows for a first time
linux user, but if ya cannot fix an isntall, or update, then why get it?
If anyone has had better results, please let me know.
