Another detailed list of email etiquette and policies that I like is the 
policies page for the webdesign-L list.

Clicking the "Explain" links to the right of each provides more 
information. For example, the Explain section for "Messages must be plain 
ASCII text only, with no HTML formatting" includes three links to how to 
configure various email clients to do so.
