[TriLUG] NVIDIA on Fedora Core 4

Gang:

I've just installed FC4 (updated via yum, 2.6.12 kernel) on my "free"  
Sun Workstation

and I believe I have installed the driver properly (The NVIDIA splash  
screen comes up) and BZ Flag runs, but the screensavers don't work  
and I am having other wonky issues with the system locking up after  
awhile.

Clues?
