Greg,

What do you mean by "full quality"?  DVDs are digital, so if you
copy over the files directly in the same mpeg2 format, the size
will be exactly the same as what it is on the DVD (minus, of
course, extras if you don't copy them over).  That's generally
somewhere in the 4-8GB range, depending on the movie.
Now, if you want to spend the LONG EXTRA time to *reencode*
the movie in a different format, say mpeg4, then that does
depend on what bitrate you select and will again vary
by movie.
