Thanks for the compliment Aaron.

And since it came from you, our first graduate to Google, I have to
say that gmail has the best spam filtering I've ever encountered.
False positives have been very rare (I can't recall seeing any). False
negatives happen a little more, but they're easy to deal with.

Since they have all those terabytes of mail in their database, I'm
guessing that they do some nice tricks when a user hit's the "Report
Spam" button and marks duplicates of the message received by other
gmail users as spam even after they have been delivered.

But they don't  throw anything away until you tell them, or at least
for a month.
