[TriLUG] What did the PS in PS/2 stand for?

Having spent 14 hours yesterday in various airports around the country
I am just too tired to flame on about this one.. but back when os/2
was out the the main competitor was Windows95 there was no comparison
between the two operating systems.  You had to have used OS/2 to
believe how good it really was.
