[TriLUG] questions about open-Xchange

David,

The commercial version is no easier to get running. The printed
documentation is infuriatingly misleading where it is not too sparse to
foster confusion. Once configured, however, it is a sweet product. The
best thing about the commercial version is that someone will actually
ssh into the host, if you pay for some support hours, and deal with the
configuration pain you've just gone through. Sadly, the setup is just
as broken "inside the shrink-wrap" as it is in the open source
download.

I am looking for a MS Exchange approach so that we can schedule appointments have a decent web interface etc. Does anyone have any good or bad comments about open-Xchange? My main concerns are what MTA is it using, alias configurations, mailing lists implementation. Any comments would be very helpful.
