Sorry, I wasn't clear and mislead you.  I have subject rewrite enabled, so
the subject is normally prefixed with "[Possible SPAM]" (w/o quotes) for
ease of filtering when spam is detected.  In this and a growing number of
cases, the SUBJECT line doesn't get rewritten.  (Although some do...)
