[TriLUG] Best Linux Desktop and Desktop Apps?

Point well taken, but please note that my complaint was his implied
"Ubuntu is the new kid and therefor inferior." I'm sure the Ubuntu
devel team took a lot of cues from Mandrake's (and others') efforts.
Again, Mandriva may be a good distro, but I think that the argument
that it's great is better made some other way.
