Well, this would've been nice, but I actually spilled more Coke on the 
side - base of the laptop -- near the power cord, USB ports and the 
cable for the screen to attach to the base.

The other night I got all but 2 screws out and took it to Intrex to see 
what could be done. They were able to get one of the two screws out but 
the other one was thoroughly shot. Now my father-in-law is trying to 
drill out the only screw left -- one that's in the middle of it all, 
holding the keyboard and cover together -- he's been through one drill 
bit already and it still hasn't come apart.

I'm just really not wanting to accept having to buy another one :( But 
it's nice to know I'm not the only one to spill stuff and kill laptops
