Job Description:
Growing company in the Clinical Research arena seeks a Director/Senior
Manager of IT Infrastructure to take the company's IT Infrastructure
to the next level. Ideal candidate will have experience leading the
direction of an IT Department and have experience with Strategic
Planning for growth.

Technical Skills:
· Experience with Cisco Routers and Checkpoint Firewall
implementations is desirable.
· Support for WAN and LAN issues; assist in WAN and LAN maintenance
activities; support projects to roll out new or upgraded network
technologies and services; support LAN and WAN capacity management
process; implement solutions to meet operational needs
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. 5+
years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers in a
networked environment. In-depth knowledge of Linux- Red Hat Enterprise
Linux (RHEL) or equivalent Linux experience, as well as extensive
experience with Microsoft Access, SQL Server, IIS, ASP technologies
involving configurations, conversions and migrations.
· Experience required in working with Apache Web Server/Tomcat
· Enterprise Storage Capacity Experience- Storage Area Network (SAN)
or Network Attached Storage (NAS) implementation is a plus.
· Large Network environment experience (30 Server +); Dell Power Edge/Optiplex
· Wireless Networking experience
· Experience integrating workstations with network printers/copiers to
streamline processes
· High level enterprise system management and Back up Libraries
· Validation and Documentation of Regulated Systems
· Microsoft Windows Server 2003 AD
· Group Policy experience
· Experience with Clustered/Distributed Systems
· Usable Exchange Server Archives

Non-Technical Skills:
· Researches and Recommends solutions which help respective
departments to be more effective.
· Forward looking vision: anticipating business needs and technology trends.
· Align the IT business plan with the technology needs of the company
· Direct and implement the Network/System vision for the company
· Select the technology solutions and ensure security and efficiency
· Successful 3rd Party Vendor Management skills including management
of off site hosting
· Strategic Planning and experience driving an IT Department toward growth
· Recommend, design and/or assess operational processes for effective
enterprise wide network and systems technology management.
· Interpersonal skills to communicate with both technical and business
oriented individuals.
· Hands on experience in configuration and management of Enterprise
Technology Management.
· Prior experience with Service Level and/or Service Quality Agreements.
· Strong attention to detail
· High-energy, self-motivated, self-starter
· Positive attitude and results oriented
· Ability to work closely and cooperatively with others
· Strong analytical troubleshooting skills

Desired Skills:
· Windows Server 2003 MCSE
· RHCE or equivalent
· VOIP Experience
· Server Virtualization
· NEC Phone System experience and/or other business class phone
systems, including changes, moves and enhancements for growth

Education Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field
